What is Self-Love?

Self-love is more than just a buzzword; it’s being authentic, feeling confident in your own skin, accepting all of your strengths and weaknesses, knowing your value and worth, and taking care of yourself.

Now, if you don't feel that way, that's okay. Lots of women don't. So, let's talk about the number one thing that blocks you from loving who you are.

The Number One Block: "I'm Not Good Enough"

The belief that you're not good enough is the primary barrier to self-love. Let's break it down.

When you don’t feel good enough, you try to compensate with:

  • Perfectionism: You set unrelenting standards for yourself, constantly striving for an unattainable ideal.

  • People-Pleasing: You bend over backward to seek acceptance and approval from others, sacrificing your own needs.

  • Over-Giving: No matter how much you give, it never feels like it's enough, leaving you feeling drained and depleted.

  • Relentless Work and Self-Criticism: You work tirelessly to prove your worth, but your inner critic is never satisfied, leading to feelings of inadequacy.

The Impact of Not Feeling Good Enough

This negative idea robs you of happiness and confidence and affects every aspect of your life. What you believe about yourself impacts your choices and blocks you from reaching your full potential.

 How to Believe You’re Worthy.

Affirmations, positive thinking and bubble baths aren't enough to break free of this belief, but you can. To gain unshakable self-worth, you must shift your thoughts and emotions and heal the root cause of the belief.

You don’t have to learn how to love yourself; you have to reveal and heal the beliefs and emotions in the way.

Now I’d love to hear from you.

Where is the belief "I'm not good enough" holding you back?  And how would your life change if you self-love?
