Calm, Focused, Nourished—Naturally
Supporting children with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities and learning challenges through functional testing, targeted nutrition and natural medicine.
For Parent’s seeking alternatives to medication—or additional natural support alongside it.
Your child might only eat beige or white foods. They're tired when they wake up. They struggle with focus, emotional regulation, or sensory overwhelm. And you're worried they're not getting the nutrition they need for healthy growth and development.
You've probably tried supplements, only to feel confused about whether you're using the right ones. You've searched online and felt overwhelmed by conflicting information.
You just want clarity. And you want to support your child naturally—without adding more stress.
That's what I do.
Since 2013, I've helped hundreds of Perth families support their children's focus, mood, immunity and gut health using functional testing, evidence-based nutrition, and child-friendly natural medicine.

Simple Testing For Kids
Testing isn’t always required, but it’s extremely helpful for parents who want clear answers to the root cause of what may be impact their child’s learning and behavioural challenges.
Common tests I offer:
Food sensitivity testing
Nutrient status
Gut microbiome testing
Organic acids testing (OAT)
Thyroid and iron studies
Tests provide a roadmap — so we aren't guessing.

You get both nutrition expertise AND natural medicine in one place. Meal plans, herbal support, supplements—all working together seamlessly.

I use Organic Acids Testing extensively—one of the most advanced tests available for uncovering nutrient deficiencies, gut problems, detox issues, and more. Most practitioners don't offer this level of testing.

What parent’s tell me.
When we support the gut, brain, nervous system and nutrient needs, parents often share the same heartfelt shifts:
"Our child is finally calmer."
Fewer meltdowns. Less reactivity. More ease in daily life.
"Sleep is better—for all of us."
They fall asleep faster and stay asleep. You finally get rest too.
"Their focus has improved so much."
Homework isn't a battle. They can listen, follow through, and stay on track.
"The constant sickness stopped."
Stronger immunity. Less time off school. Less worry.
"They're trying new foods… I'm shocked."
As the gut heals and zinc improves, food acceptance naturally widens.
"I feel like I have my child back."
Under the overwhelm is a bright, loving, capable child—and you finally get to see them again.

FAQs
-
Yes. A children’s nutritionist can support kids with ADHD by looking at diet, gut health, blood sugar balance, nutrient deficiencies, sleep patterns, and food sensitivities. When these areas are supported, many parents notice improvements in focus, behaviour, mood regulation, and energy. Nutrition works alongside your child’s current care plan and can reduce overwhelm for the whole family
-
This is very common with sensory sensitivities. We focus on:
Gentle exposure to new textures
Food chaining (expanding within safe foods)
Improving nutrient intake with simple swaps
Supporting zinc and iron (often low in picky eaters)
Small steps can create big improvements without battles at mealtimes.
-
The gut and brain communicate constantly. When the gut is inflamed, imbalanced, or constipated, it can affect:
Emotional regulation, mood swings, hyperactivity and sleep.
Improving digestion often leads to calmer behaviour, clearer thinking, and better resilience. -
Supplements can be very effective, but dosing matters — and every child has different needs. Working with a qualified practitioner ensures safety, correct forms, and no interactions with medications. Avoid giving supplements “just to try,” as it can throw things out of balance.
-
Many families do. Nutrition and lifestyle support work well alongside medication and can help reduce side-effects, stabilise mood, and improve overall wellbeing. We create a plan that supports your child’s whole body, not just symptoms description
-
This depends on your child’s age and level of awareness. In most cases, the first appointment is with the parent only. This allows us to talk openly about your child’s challenges and gives the session our full focus. I gather most of the information from parents, so your child doesn’t usually need to be involved at this stage.
If we feel it would be helpful — for example, to encourage healthy changes or build confidence — your child is welcome to join any appointment. Most families start with parents only.

Yes — constipation can be supported through:
Fibre variety
Magnesium-rich foods
Hydration
Specialised probiotics
Improving gut motility
We also look for underlying causes like food intolerances, microbiome imbalance, or nervous system stress. -
Parents often notice:
Tummy pain or bloating
Constipation or diarrhoea
Eczema or rashes
Behavioural changes after meals
Brain fog or irritability
Identifying trigger foods can dramatically improve mood and digestion.
-
Often yes. Sensory sensitivities, gut issues, and limited diets can lead to nutrient gaps. We focus on gentle strategies that improve digestion, energy, immune health, and emotional balance — without pressure or overwhelm.

Dietitians are trained in clinical hospital settings and can diagnose specific medical conditions. Nutritionists focus on preventative health, dietary strategies, gut function, and natural interventions. Both can support children, but nutritionists often dive deeper into food intolerances, gut health, behavioural triggers, and whole-family lifestyle support.
